The first mentions in the press of the «Odesa Canning Plant» appeared in 1919 — after the nationalization of a private food factory and the conversion of military barracks in Vodoprovidnyi Lane. Over the years, the plant became an important part of Odesa’s food industry: it was from here that halva was distributed throughout the former Soviet Union, while canned goods and tomato paste have been exported to Europe and America since as early as 1936.

Today, the company operates one of the most powerful technological bases in Ukraine and follows a full production cycle — from growing vegetables in the fields and logistics to manufacturing containers, packaging, and finished products. Our greatest value is our people: specialists who join the plant at a young age, grow professionally here, and pass their experience on to new generations.

The quality of our products is confirmed by certificates of the national UkrSEPRO system, while our fish products comply with HACCP requirements — the European food safety management system. Production follows GOST, DSTU, and TU standards.

The enterprise operates in several directions. We produce halva in packages from 30 g to 5 kg, canned vegetables, tomato paste, zucchini and eggplant spreads, various types of beans, as well as our own containers and packaging.

A separate direction is the production of corn and green peas in various types of jars, as well as their freezing at –40°C. Only “super-sweet” corn varieties and peas at the milk stage of maturity are used in our products.

Our juice production processes fruits and tomatoes for pasteurized juices and nectars, allowing us to preserve the maximum amount of beneficial nutrients. This division also produces sauces, ketchups, and tomato paste in doypack packaging.

Our fish-processing complex is one of the most dynamically developing areas. We produce more than 20 types of canned fish, including naturally smoked sprats and sprat pâté. In 2012, the complex ranked among the top three in Ukraine.

Each production area has its own certified laboratory that constantly monitors the quality of raw materials and finished products.

We treat every stage responsibly — from the field to your table. Vegetables go through washing, cleaning, sterilization, or heat treatment, while modern equipment helps preserve vitamins and micronutrients. Thanks to the proximity of our raw-material base, logistics are shortened, and the freshness and taste of our products remain at a high level. That is why families in Ukraine and abroad choose our products.

The plant’s products are represented by three trademarks: TM «Gospodarochka», TM «Soyuz-Agro», and TM «Soyuz Morey».
